China Global Television Network (CGTN; simplified Chinese: 中国国际电视台, pinyin: Zhōngguó guójì diànshìtái or simplified Chinese: 中国环球电视网, pinyin: Zhōngguó Huánqiú Diànshì Wǎng), is a group of six international multi-lingual television channels owned and operated by CMG.
All six non-Chinese language television channels previously operated by CCTV International were simultaneously relaunched on 31 December 2016 at 04:00 UTC (12:00 BJT) under the new name CGTN. CCTV-4, the international Mandarin channel, was not part of this rebranding and remains under the direct control of CCTV.
